WHAT IS THE
POKE OF GOLD?
The Search for the Poke of Gold is one of Golden Days' most beloved traditions: a community-wide treasure hunt hidden somewhere within Fairbanks city limits.
Each morning from July 19 through July 23, a new video clue is revealed across Fairbanks Chamber social media and on this page at 8:00 AM. The clues build on each other day by day, growing more specific and pointing ever closer to where the Poke is hidden. The first person to find the physical Poke and bring it to the Fairbanks Chamber office downtown wins the grand prize.

THE ZONE.
- 01 The Poke is hidden on publicly accessible land within the marked boundaries. It will not be on private property.
- 02 Do not dig, damage vegetation, or disturb wildlife in your search. The Poke is above ground and findable without tools.
- 03 The hunt is open to everyone — no registration or entry fee required.
- 04 Clue videos are the only official hints. No additional clues will be provided by phone, email, or social media.
- 05 The finder must bring the physical Poke to the Fairbanks Chamber office downtown to claim the prize.
